Pheeeeewwwwww!!!!!  The American Flag afghan is done, delivered, and given away to a lucky recipient.  It took me a week to recover and I didn’t realize how heavy the silly thing was getting until I started binding it off.  It felt like my arms were floating as the crazy thing came off the needles.  I can definitely say that near the end I was sure wishing we had less than 50 states.  Even the stars started to get annoying, but that does tend to happen when you work on a deadline.  When I was sewing on star number 2o something, my husband said I should have made a rebel flag and I would be done already.  LOL!  Of course he can joke when he isn’t the one buried in stars.  For anyone who would like to see the finished project, I’m posting a pic.  Let me know what you think of it and tell us about your current projects.
