What To Do Now!!
Well, as soon as the American Flag project was completed and delivered my fingers started itching for something to do. It isn’t like I don’t have tons and tons of unfinished projects I could have picked up. Instead I started knitting some dish clothes. Nothing fancy, just run of the mill stuff.
I finished one dish cloth during a weekend road trip. The best part of the trip was running into a street fair and some shops in a little town in southern Ohio. I walked into a dollar store and found yarn. Not just any yarn, mind you, but specialty yarns that run $3 to $6 a skein. They were selling them for a dollar, so I did what any crafter would do. I bought all they had!!! What else could I have done? Even though they aren’t exactly the colors I’m fond of, I figure I can turn them into some kind of Christmas gift. Maybe one day I will get brave and take a picture of my yarn stash. Of course it would probably necessitate the purchase of a very very very wide angle lens for the camera.
Tell us about your projects or “stash.” I can’t be the only person who has enough available yarn to open a yarn shop.
I don’t have a camera to post a pic and would probably get buried by my stash if I opened the closet door. I finished an afghan that I gave as a graduation present, and I aa now attempting to finish every other project before I start something new. YEAH, RIGHT!!!!
